Refund Policy

1. General Principles

DecisionProphet ("Service") provides probabilistic, hybrid-intelligence decision support blending Bayesian probability models (including contextual factor weighting) and I Ching pattern archetypes. All outputs are probabilistic forecasts / scenario analyses, not certainties. Because delivery is instantaneous digital access, refunds are limited to objectively verifiable service failures as outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Dissatisfaction Alone: Insights are probabilistic and partially stochastic; variance between expectations and delivered probabilities / hexagram archetypes is not grounds for refund.
  • Technical Failure: Payment succeeded but the system failed to deliver any answer credits ("answers count") OR a request produced no output due to a verified platform-side error. Must be reported within 7 days.
  • Duplicate Charge: Verified accidental duplicate billing (same plan & timestamp cluster) will be fully refunded.
  • Unauthorized Payment: If verifiably unauthorized (e.g., card fraud) and supported by issuing bank documentation, we will reverse the charge consistent with legal obligations.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Successful Service Delivery: Answers / forecasts (including probability distributions, scenario confidence, hexagram archetypes) were generated and displayed.
  • User Input Issues: Typos, ambiguity, insufficient context, or later change of mind after receiving an answer.
  • Expectation Mismatch: Outcome confidence scores lower or higher than hoped; different hexagram than anticipated; perceived lack of usefulness.
  • Subscription Cancellation: Canceling stops future renewals only; the current billing cycle remains active—no prorated or partial refunds.
  • Unused Answer Allowance: Unused answers (remaining "answers count") within an active or expired billing cycle are not refundable and have no cash value.

4. Refund Process

Request Submission: Email [email protected] within 7 days of the original transaction for technical / duplicate charge claims.

  • Transaction ID (gateway reference)
  • Registered account email
  • Issue description (include timestamp & steps)
  • Screenshots or error messages (if any)

Verification: We attempt reproduction & log correlation; we may request limited additional diagnostics.

Decision: Response within 5 business days. Approved refunds return to original payment method within 10 business days (subject to issuer latency).

5. Exceptions

Fraud / Abuse: We may deny or revoke refunds if logs show automation abuse, bulk extraction, or misrepresentation.

Regulatory Rights: Statutory consumer refund rights (if stricter) in your jurisdiction prevail.

6. Additional Subscription Notes

  • Answer credits ("answers count") refresh on your renewal date; unused credits expire and do not roll over.
  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at next renewal.
  • Promotional or bonus credits are treated as complimentary and never refundable.
